Position Summary

We are looking for best-in-class talent to take on the role of Associate, Planning. In this role, you will assist in the creation and innovation of the holistic media planning and buying process for Sony Pictures, Home Entertainment and Television. This entry-level opportunity will kick-start your career in media and provide a platform to partner with a leading consumer brand.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of clients' goals and strategies, while handling ad-hoc client requests
• Work closely with integrated media strategists and investment specialists to help build a media plan, while also handling day-to-day client requests
• Develop tactical components of client media campaigns, such as flow charts, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and budget summaries
• Request proposals from media partners, and begin crafting preliminary media strategies for plan implementation
• Assist in inputting and tracking buys and pulling system reports
• Manage the posting process by analyzing and monitoring network schedules and performances
• Review billing discrepancies with buyers and resolve in a timely manner
• Use qualitative and quantitative research to develop consumer insights, budget allocations, etc.
• Remain knowledgeable of consumer habits and marketplace trends, with ability to summarize for team and potentially client
• Compile research data to help the planning teams ensure client is reaching target audience
• Learn to utilize syndicated sources, programs, and master basic media math

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current / former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee's / applicant's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
