Diesel Fleet Technician Position
Sysco is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Fleet Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections and maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment within planned time tolerances to maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency throughout the life cycle of the fleet.
Conduct FAI / CVI (Annual) inspections on all fleet vehicles, including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, light-duty vehicles, and any other company-owned equipment in accordance with all federal, state, and local legal and regulatory agencies.
Follow procedures, including documenting all work performed on work orders.
Key Responsibilities :
In order to be successful in this position, you must have :
A high school diploma or equivalent.
A current driver's license.
Moderate / heavy-duty truck technical training / experience.
Certifications such as Annual Inspector Certification and ASE certifications.
