Job Summary :

Responsible for assisting the EVS Manager and directing cleaning functions of building and grounds. This position ensures cleanliness and a healthy work environment by managing the activities, routines, necessary tools / materials, programs and training of EVS staff.

Essential Functions :

• Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
• Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest and team member concerns and questions.
• Supervise day-to-day activities; provide training, planning, assigning and directing work; interviewing and hiring; appraise performance, reward, and discipline team members; correct and approve time cards, schedule time off, post shift bids; address complaints and resolve problems.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels to meet business demands.
• Assist Department Manager with writing and implementing operating plans and budgets for EVS and capital improvements.
• Assist EVS Manager with budgeting process and position control.
• Manage preventative EVS and work order processes.
• Assist Department Manager with compliance of all safety standards and codes.
• Assist with development and implementation of emergency procedures.
• Assist with development and implementation of purchasing and inventory procedures for EVS.
• Resolve problems or grievances (team member / guests) within the EVS department.
• Identify training opportunities and resolve work load conflicts.
• Maintain and promote open communication with related vendors and contractors including initializing purchases with follow up.
• Forward recommendations to EVS Manager to improve system performances and efficient operations.
• Immediately respond to emergency situations.
• Report faulty or damaged equipment immediately to the EVS Manager.
• Report injuries and incidents immediately to the EVS Manager.
• Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
• Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.
• Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 requirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-Money Laundering policies. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SAR as needed.

Minimum Requirements to Qualifications :

Other Criteria :

Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American preference is observed.
