About the Role :
The Front Desk Office Assistant handles reception and administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations in a homebuilding and real estate environment. The ideal candidate is responsible, reliable, and demonstrates excellent attendance, creating a professional, welcoming atmosphere that promotes efficiency and enhances the company's reputation.
Minimum Qualifications :
2+ years of solid experience.High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in an administrative or front desk role, preferably within real estate, construction, or a related industry.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Professional appearance and demeanor.Preferred Qualifications :
Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field.Experience working in a homebuilding or real estate office setting.Familiarity with real estate or construction management software.Customer service training or certification.Basic knowledge of real estate terminology and processes.Responsibilities :
Greet, welcome, and assist visitors, customers, and subcontractors promptly and courteously at the front desk.Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls promptly, take messages, and respond to general inquiries professionally.Handle basic inquiries and direct complex questions to staff.Manage scheduling and calendar coordination for meetings, site visits, and internal appointments.Maintain and organize office files, records, and documentation.Assist with data entry, preparation of reports, and distribution of correspondence and materials.Coordinate office supplies inventory and place orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services.Support various departments by handling administrative tasks as needed.Assist with coordinating the company's main office events and company-wide activities.Ensure the front office area and breakroom are clean, organized, stocked, and presentable at all times.Physical Requirements
Sitting : Ability to remain seated for extended periods while performing computer and phone tasks. Standing / Walking : Occasional standing and walking to greet visitors, retrieve files, or assist with office tasks. Lifting / Carrying : Light lifting (usually up to 10–20 lbs) for office supplies, packages, or documents. Reaching : Frequent reaching at or below shoulder level; occasional overhead reaching for files or supplies. Keyboarding : Regular use of a computer keyboard and mouse for data entry and correspondence. Gross Manipulation : Handling office equipment, documents, and small packages. Vision & Hearing : Ability to read printed and digital materials and communicate clearly in person and over the phone.

Starting Compensation and Benefits : Hourly rate of $19.23 to $24.04 ($40,000.00 to $50,000.00 annually) DOE.
