School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Gurnee, IL
Location : Gurnee, Illinois
Schedule : Full Time 35 hours / week
Start Date : Upcoming School Year
Were looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative and well-supported team in the Gurnee, IL area for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time, onsite position serving a caseload of approximately 3545 students across a school with a robust multidisciplinary team.
About the Team & Environment :
35 SLPs per school
Special Education Supervisor on-site
Collaborative support from school social workers, psychologists, and other related service professionals
Responsibilities :
Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language needs
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations
Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
Collaborate with the school team to develop and implement IEPs
Offer RtI (Response to Intervention) support where needed
Requirements :
Illinois SLP license and PEL (Professional Educator License)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered
School-based experience is a plus
