Are you a passionate character animator with a knack for bringing stylized characters to life? Do you dream of crafting expressive, dynamic animations in a rich 3D fantasy world? An innovative indie game studio is looking for you to help shape their upcoming 3D platformer RPG – a single-player experience packed with exploration, story, and satisfying combat.

We’re partnering with this growing studio to find a skilled animator who can rig and animate characters for Unreal Engine, with a strong focus on melee combat and fighting animation. If you’ve got a solid background in game development, an eye for expressive movement, and you’re excited to collaborate on a fresh new IP, let’s talk.

What You’ll Do

• Rig and skin 3D characters for animation and implementation in Unreal Engine
• Animate fluid, stylized movement and melee combat sequences for enemies and the player character
• Collaborate with the design and programming teams to ensure animations enhance gameplay feel
• Own the character animation pipeline from concept to in-engine polish
• Solve technical animation challenges and optimize rigs for performance
