Job Description :

• Review, interpret, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure the correct preparation, packaging, and labeling of medications.
• Verify dosages and check for drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications
• Provide counseling and education to patients on the proper use of medications, possible side effects, and storage instructions.
• Support patients in medication adherence and lifestyle modifications.
• Address patient inquiries regarding over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription medications.
• Manage and maintain adequate inventory levels of pharmaceuticals.
• Conduct regular audits of stock to ensure proper storage conditions and prevent shortages or expiries.
• Maintain accurate records of controlled substances per regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with legal, ethical, and professional standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy laws, drug information, and advancements in pharmacotherapy.
• Support internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
