Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title : Travel Med / Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Location : Wichita, Kansas 67214 Healthcare Setting : Critical Illness and Rehab Hospital Shift : 3x12 hour night shifts per week Weekly Hours : 36 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : ASAP or 10 / 13 / 2025 Employment Type : Travel Nursing Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1740 - $1860 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Kansas or compact state BLS Certification (required before first shift) ACLS Certification (required before first shift) Minimum 2 years of clinical bedside experience in Med / Surg or related specialties Preferred experience : Same Day Surgery, Detox, Bone Marrow Transplant, Mental Health, IDD Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission Develop individualized care plans and identify patient teaching needs and goals Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and deliver direct clinical care Initiate discharge planning and patient education from admission Communicate changes in patient status to the healthcare team for continuity and safety Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary nursing staff Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, following hospital safety protocols Foster a positive team environment and participate in team-building activities Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
