Personal Assistant / Family Assistant — Private Household (Upper East Side, NYC)

A private family with three young children (ages 6, 4, and 2) is seeking their first-ever Personal Assistant / Family Assistant . Based in a beautiful Upper East Side townhouse close to Central Park , this is a unique opportunity to establish systems and become the trusted right hand to a dynamic household.

The principals are a warm, engaging couple : Mr. runs a hedge fund in Midtown , while Mrs. has an online presence and is launching a children’s nutritional product . She is described as delightful — kind, thoughtful, creative, and intelligent — with a strong interest in children’s wellness and nutrition .

What You’ll Do

• Household Coordination : Central point of contact, managing schedules for the nanny, driver, and housekeeper.
• Vendors & Property : Oversee contractors, service providers, and household maintenance. Build and maintain a digital “house bible” with warranties, vendor details, and key dates.
• Calendars & Scheduling : Keep integrated family calendars — school timetables, activities, appointments, and events — perfectly organized.
• Administration : Track invoices, reconcile bills, manage insurance documents, and ensure digital records are accurate and accessible.
• Organization : Create systems for order across closets, storage, uniforms, returns, and household supplies.
• Travel & Lifestyle : Research and coordinate family travel, gifting, holiday planning, and events.
• Business Support : Provide light assistance with Mrs.’s new children’s nutrition venture — packaging / shipments, vendor communication, bookkeeping, and online presence / social media support.

Role Details

📍 Location : Upper East Side townhouse, close to Central Park

🗓️ Schedule : Monday–Friday, hybrid role (approx. 2 days on-site; flexible depending on family needs)

✈️ Travel : Rare; not typically required to accompany the family

💼 Compensation : $120K-$150K
