Position Title : Assembly Technician – Satellite Systems

Location : Kirkland, WA

Compensation : Starting at $27.00 / hr , with an increase to $32–$33 / hr upon direct hire

Shift Availability :

  • Day Shift : 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
  • Schedule Options : Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday
  • Overtime may be required based on production needs

Role Overview :

As a Satellite Assembly Technician, you’ll be hands-on with the construction and testing of advanced electrical and mechanical components. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our satellite systems.

Key Duties :

  • Assemble and test avionics LRUs, electromechanical units, fiber-optic components, and PCBAs
  • Perform system-level and component-level testing using established procedures
  • Calibrate and maintain lab and test equipment
  • Support preventive maintenance activities for test setups and data systems
  • Manage inventory and assist with process optimization
  • Handle incoming shipments and coordinate internal deliveries
  • Uphold safety standards and contribute to procedural updates

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a precision manufacturing or high-traceability environment, or completion of a relevant trade certification
  • Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., calipers, multimeters, torque wrenches)
  • Familiarity with system validation tools and testing methodologies
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00 / hr.
