ServiceNow Senior Architect

OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that provides support

to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process

Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition / Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

We’re a ServiceNow Consulting and Implementation (C&I) Partner building a ServiceNow Practice, and we’re looking for a visionary Senior Architect to help lead the way. This is your opportunity to shape OCT’s ServiceNow future from the ground up through designing and delivering AI-enabled, enterprise-grade solutions that streamline processes and transform results for our federal clients.

In this role, you’ll be more than a technical expert, you’ll be a strategic partner. You’ll help define our ServiceNow niche, craft our go-to-market strategy, and showcase our capabilities to clients and partners through powerful presentations and demos. Your leadership will directly influence how we grow, differentiate, and win in the market.

Day to day, you’ll guide solution design, customization, and cross-module integration ensuring every implementation is scalable, compliant, and impactful. You’ll also work closely with the Practice Director to shape our delivery model, mentor team members, and establish best practices that will fuel long-term success. Day-to-day responsibilities include :

• Serve as the technical authority for ServiceNow solutions focusing on federal business workflows.
• Design, develop, and oversee custom applications and workflows spanning multiple modules.
• Participate in strategic and technical discussions with clients and partners.
• Define and enforce platform governance, standards, and best practices for customization, integration, and data security.
• Ensure that custom solutions remain upgradeable and sustainable.
• Collaborate with functional SMEs, business analysts, and developers to translate complex business rules into platform designs.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external client systems.
• Mentor developers and administrators to strengthen the OCT’s custom development capabilities.
• Oversee OCT’s ServiceNow implementations.
