Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a HYBRID Tier 3 Engineer / Project Engineer job for a direct client in East Hartford, CT seeking to expand their in-house team of IT professionals. In this senior-level technical role, you will lead complex infrastructure projects, act as the final escalation point for technical issues, and mentor internal staff. This position requires deep expertise in cloud and on-premises environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies, security solutions, and client communications.

Tier 3 Engineer / Project Engineer Job Responsibilities :

• Serve as Tier 3 support and subject matter expert for escalated technical issues
• Lead cloud migration and infrastructure projects across Microsoft and alternative platforms
• Implement and manage security solutions including MFA, firewalls, and endpoint protection
• Provide documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer to internal teams and clients
• Mentor junior engineers and support after-hours incident response as part of a rotating schedule
