Director of Data Science

A company is looking for a Director of Data Science - Fraud & Risk.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists in fraud detection and risk assessment

Develop and optimize advanced deep learning model architectures to address fraud and risk challenges

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions and ensure best practices in ML model development

Required Qualifications

Experience in fraud prevention, risk management, fintech, or identity verification

Advanced degree (MS / PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field

Hands-on experience with deep learning models in a production environment

Strong track record of managing and developing diverse teams of data scientists

Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
