Bay area California compensation range : $85,600 - $128,400

Location : Hybrid Remote in Petaluma, CA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for developing and producing financial reports, models, and analysis on a regular basis for the company. The Senior Financial Analyst will work with his / her manager to spot trends and drivers and clearly communicate any recommendations to management. This role will support numerous processes and initiatives in the company, inclusive of P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet aspects of long-range planning (LRP), annual planning (AOP), forecasting, scenario analysis, monthly results, accruals, monthly business reviews, family board meetings and external bank and audit reviews. The ability to work in a dynamic, manual, and systematic environment is critical. Accuracy, foresight, cross-functional interactions, and clear communication will be critical components of this role. The person in this role will also be responsible for evolving and improving processes and reporting. This role will have the opportunity to support all areas of finance inclusive of commercial, corporate, supply chain, operations, and accounting.

• Create and maintain detailed financial reporting and analysis for assigned areas of the business to identify issues, trends, and opportunities
• Support month-end close and forecast process, inclusive of accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support long-range planning, annual planning and monthly forecasting process and develop reporting and models based on business needs; Enhance the company's analytical story-telling through volume, price, mix analysis (VPM)
• Support multi-entity, category and customer structure through partnering across the finance team to provide required analytical support
• Ad-hoc reporting, special projects and other department support as needed
• Act as a subject matter expert for the implementation and on-going maintenance of the company's EPM system
• Develop and deliver financial training to cross-functional teams
• Document departmental policies and procedures, as requested
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.
