We are hiring an Employee Assistance Counselor (EAP) to join our Workplace Solutions division. As an EAP Counselor, you play a crucial role in assisting employees and their families in addressing personal and work-related challenges that may impact their well-being and job performance by connecting individuals with appropriate resources, coordinating services, and providing ongoing support. MUST BE Licensed to practice Mental Health in the state of Montana, North Dakota, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, Utah, Nebraska or New Mexico AND reside in the state where mental health license is held.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER :
Estimated Salary : $65,000 - $77,000, plus annual bonus opportunityRemote opportunity with set office hours 8 : 30-5 : 00 M-FRegular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.Regular associates receive 9 paid holidays in 2023.Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 56 hours of personal time in 2023, prorated based on the start date.WHAT YOU'LL DO :
Support employees and their families by addressing their personal and work-related challenges, promoting well-being, and helping them navigate difficult situations.Work with employees to create action plans aimed at resolving short-term problems. You may also collaborate with community and internal resources to provide additional support and referrals as necessary.Identify appropriate external professionals or resources and facilitate the referral process for individuals seeking specialized or long-term assistance. You will also provide resource referrals, which may include connecting individuals with community organizations or services that can further support their well-being.To ensure a comprehensive and diverse range of services for employees and their families, you will play a crucial role in identifying and contracting with potential providers. This involves demonstrating proficiency in using online directories and resources to locate suitable providers who can meet the needs of the EAP program.WHAT YOU'LL BRING :
Master's degree in counseling, Mental Health, Social Work, Chemical Dependency or related field. Clinical licensure and completion of clinical supervision required.Licensed to practice Mental Health in the state of Montana, North Dakota, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, Utah, Nebraska or New Mexico. Must reside in the state where mental health license is held.Three or more years' experience in behavioral health required.Experience and knowledge in assessment, counseling, chemical dependency, wellness, workshop design / training, and consulting.You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.VALUABLE EXPERIENCE :
Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) eligible; CEAP preferred.Strong communication skills; Bilingual communication in English and Spanish preferred.Experience in vocational rehabilitation.We value diverse experience, skills, and passion for innovation.
