Accounting Clerk

Job Description

Ledgent Finance & Accounting has partnered with a growing investment management firm located in Pasadena, CA and is actively seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team! This is a long-term contract and is on-site, M-F.

We're seeking a highly motivated Accounting Clerk to provide support to the Accounting department. Some of the main responsibilities include; processing transactions, issuing checks, updating ledgers, assisting with financial reports, and creating and updating expense reports. They will also be responsible for handling communications with clients.

This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computers, especially advanced Excel, is a crucial requirement for this role.

Requirements:

• 6+ months of accounting experience
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Must have strong Excel skills (pivot table, vlookup, sumif, etc.)
