What You'll Do : Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate. Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations in accordance with policies for a technology, media, and telecommunications environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken as required. Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or breaches. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols or while monitoring access points. Work collaboratively with site personnel and / or visitors to provide information and assistance related to security-related matters. Maintain detailed records and logs of activity, incidents, and access control procedures as required by Allied Universal and the client site. Minimum Requirements : Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Willingness to work at limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
