Senior Payroll Specialist

We're hiring on behalf of our client, a leading Consumer Services company with operations in 8 states . This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a seasoned Payroll Analyst to join their team.

Overview

What You'll Do

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for union, hourly, and salaried employees.
• Ensure accurate final payments for terminated employees.
• Audit and validate timesheets, payroll adjustments, and compliance with policies and contracts.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts.
• Support payroll tax filings and voluntary deductions (401k, stock plans, United Way).
• Generate payroll reports for finance and operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Benefits, IT).
• Stay current on payroll laws and regulations.
• Assist with audits, W-2 reconciliations, and special projects.
