Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Garland, TX. This full-semester contract begins as soon as possible, ideally the week of January 15th, and runs through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities include delivering direct and consultative speech-language services to students with diverse needs. The role involves working two days per week at an early childhood center serving approximately 12 preschoolers, and three days per week at a middle school site working with about 30 students. Most students have mild speech and language needs, with some requiring more intensive intervention. Consultative services are provided once weekly.

Key qualifications and experience sought :

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs, or appropriate credentials for SLPAs
• Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology
• Background in school-based speech services, including working with preschool and middle school populations
• Ability to manage caseloads that include both mild and more profound communication challenges
• Strong collaborative skills for working with educators and families
• Commitment to providing on-site services throughout the contract duration
