Job Description
We're looking for a Quality Control Inspector / Technician to join our Quality team. If you’re detail-oriented, enjoy problem-solving, and want to play a key role in ensuring flight-critical aerospace components meet the highest standards, this role is for you.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements. A typical day includes :
- Performing incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
- Using inspection tools, from basic hand tools to advanced CMM capabilities.
- Verifying calibration of inspection equipment.
- Reviewing product and paperwork to meet blueprint, spec, and P.O. requirements.
- Supporting FAI (First Article Inspection) documentation.
- Creating and managing Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs).
- Participating in internal and external audits.
- Providing input on manufacturing work instructions and inspection methods.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement to strengthen our quality system.
What You'll Bring :
We’re looking for someone with strong technical skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
AS / BS in a technical field is preferred; HS diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience accepted (relevant professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree)Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Quality ControlFamiliarity with aerospace regulatory standards (preferred)Technical proficiency with inspection & test equipmentKnowledge of GD&T principlesU.S. Citizenship (required)Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and sit for long periodsStrong foundation in quality control methodologiesAnalytical problem-solving abilitiesBlueprint, spec, and work instruction interpretationProficiency with Microsoft Suite, ERP, and inspection softwareMechanical aptitude & basic shop mathExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyWhy Join Us :
