  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and family members, to develop a unified approach to patient care.
  • Provide education and resources to patients and families to facilitate progress beyond the clinical environment.
  • Assist in delivering inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments to maintain continuity in patient care.

Certifications
  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Skills
  • Expertise in employing evidence-based practices for diverse patient populations while navigating developmental and acquired communication disorders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering collaborative relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Adept at tailoring therapy methods to address varying cultural and linguistic requirements.
  • Strong clinical judgment accompanied by effective problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation reflective of experience levels.
  • Flexible work schedules to support a harmonious work-life balance and accommodating caseloads.
  • Specialization opportunities within pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) alongside holiday compensation.
  • Comprehensive healthcare packages, including medical, dental, vision, and life coverage.
