Job Summary

Performs a variety of clinical and clerical services in a clinic or Physician's office, including taking basic vital signs on patients, documenting chief complaint, and assisting in minor in office procedures. Performs related work as required. Cross coverage for Moses Rehabilitation Medicine site is required as needed.

Essential Functions

• Take and record patient's height, weight, health history and vital signs including blood pressure and blood drawing (venipuncture) and EKG's
• Accuracy for results
• Sterilize instruments and equipment using appropriate sterilization workflow.
• Safe and sterilized environment.
• Order and maintain supplies and prepare examination rooms.
• Stock and supplies at par level.
• Maintain abnormal results laboratory, pathology specimens and logbooks such as medication temperatures logbooks and Baclofen patient logs.
• Accuracy and completeness of records.
• Assist in clerical procedures such as scheduling appointments, registering patients in EPIC, answering phone calls, making appointment confirmation calls, recording messages, and completing forms, medical records, and requests for lab tests and

X-rays.
