As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. What You'll Do : Monitor and control access to the healthcare facility by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors. Assist with visitor management processes, including registering guests and directing them to appropriate areas within the location. Help to deter unauthorized entry and / or activities by maintaining a visible presence at access points. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols. Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site. Document and report any suspicious behavior, security-related incidents, or potential hazards observed during assigned shifts. Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support site operations and maintain a secure environment. Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
