Install, configure, and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC input / output modules, and related control wiring.
Provide expertise in troubleshooting analog and digital controls associated with 480V, 3 phase power distribution systems, motors, variable frequency drives, servo drives, and soft starts.
Maintain and troubleshoot position feedback devices, including encoders and load cells.
Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces, making logic modifications in ladder logic.
Diagnose and troubleshoot both integrated and stand-alone graphic human-machine interfaces.
Analyze communication protocols such as Profibus, serial, and industrial Ethernet.
Utilize electrical schematics for troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues.
Conduct preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors, and production equipment.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
Demonstrated experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and servo systems is required.
Preferred experience in troubleshooting and maintaining packaging equipment within a manufacturing setting.
A solid understanding of manufacturing safety protocols (lockout / tagout, confined spaces, personal protective equipment, etc.) is preferred.
PLC programming experience is advantageous.
Familiarity with electrical encoders, servomotors, and amplifiers is preferred.
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics is essential.

Experience with computerized maintenance systems is preferred.
