Job Description

We’re looking for Physical Therapist Assistants who are passionate about helping patients restore movement and function. In this role, you’ll perform direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, utilizing therapeutic techniques to relieve pain, increase strength, and improve mobility. You’ll work one-on-one with patients and document care clearly and accurately, always staying aligned with your State Practice Act.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver patient treatment using therapeutic procedures and modalities

Follow the treatment plan and supervision of the physical therapist

Document all treatment provided in a clear and concise manner

Apply physical therapy principles and ensure patient safety

Support departmental compliance with accreditation standards

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with our rehabilitation and clinical teams to ensure quality patient care while fostering a respectful, encouraging, and cooperative environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program or successful CA Board exam challenger

Current California PTA license

Competency in physical therapy techniques and use of therapy equipment

Knowledge of accreditation and compliance standards

BLS certification required and maintained

Recommended affiliation with APTA

Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend in English

Ability to follow therapist direction and department policies

Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with patients, families, coworkers, and the community
