We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager with staffing agency experience and a strong background in recruitment. This role is perfect for someone who understands the full recruitment cycle and is excited about transitioning into, or expanding into, sales and client-facing business development. You will help grow our presence in the Camarillo area by building relationships, securing new clients, and creating long-term staffing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the Ventura County region.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and local businesses.Leverage staffing and recruitment experience to understand client needs and propose effective workforce solutions.Conduct outreach, cold calls, client visits, and presentations to generate new accounts.Collaborate closely with recruiters and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.Attend networking events and represent the company within the local business community.Track performance metrics, prepare sales reports, and provide insight to leadership.Qualifications
Previous staffing agency experience is required.Hands-on recruitment experience (sourcing, interviewing, placements).Interest in or experience with sales , business development, or client acquisition.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, relationship-driven industry.Familiarity with CRMs and applicant tracking systems.Knowledge of the Camarillo / Ventura County market is a plus.
