We are seeking a Lead Cost Consulting / Estimating Manager with extensive expertise in cost management, estimating, or quantity surveying to oversee cost consulting functions on medium to large capital construction projects. This is a senior, onsite role, ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in pharmaceutical projects and large-scale capital construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership : Manage and lead all cost consulting and estimating efforts for large capital projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project goals.
- Cost Estimation : Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including feasibility studies, pre-construction estimates, and final cost forecasts.
- Strategic Cost Management : Develop and implement cost control strategies to manage budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure project financial success.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to deliver cost insights, address challenges, and ensure smooth project execution.
- Data Analysis : Analyze project data to assess financial performance and provide actionable recommendations.
- Pharmaceutical Expertise : Apply knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards and processes to ensure successful project delivery.
- Onsite Oversight : Serve as the primary onsite contact, ensuring real-time cost management and addressing challenges proactively.
- Mentorship : Guide and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth within the cost management team.
- Reporting and Documentation : Generate detailed cost reports and presentations for stakeholders, providing transparency and insights into project performance.
Qualifications
Experience :15+ years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or estimating on medium to large capital construction projects.
Pharmaceutical project experience is highly preferred.Strong track record in managing the financial aspects of large-scale construction projects.Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.Skills :Proficiency in cost management tools and software.
