Estimator - Site Development (Huntsville Park)

We are partnered with a reputable Site Development Contractor located in the Huntsville area; seeking a Civil Site Development Estimator to join their team. You'll drive project acquisition through strategic pricing and accurate bid preparation. Key activities include plan analysis, quantity takeoffs, cost determination, and proposal development that consistently captures profitable opportunities

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare estimates for civil site development projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs for site development projects
• Calculate material, equipment, and labor costs for comprehensive project pricing
• Utilize HCSS HeavyBid software to create and submit bid proposals
• Review construction plans and specifications to determine project scope
• Research current pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
• Coordinate with project managers and field personnel on construction methods and costs
• Track market trends and competitor pricing strategies
• Manage multiple concurrent estimates while meeting deadline requirements
• Attend pre-bid meetings and job site visits as needed
