Job Title : Welder

Pay : $20-35 / hour dependent on experience

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to perform a variety of welding duties using techniques such as MIG, TIG, Wire Welding, Spot Welding, and oxy / acetylene torch. The ideal candidate will clean and dress welds, set up and lay out work using material handling equipment or hand layouts, and fabricate or rework finished products.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding duties using various techniques including MIG, TIG, and more.
• Clean and dress welds as required.
• Set up and lay out work using material handling equipment or hand layouts.
• Manually set up hand-held sanders, grinders, wire wheels, or other finishing hand-held tools.
• Weld I-Beam, Frame, and Fuel Tanks in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Clamp, hold, tack weld, drill, mill, tap, cut, and / or bolt together components for complete welding.
• Inspect products, equipment, and tools for defects and malfunctions.
• Create quality welds according to blueprints / specifications.
• Inspect all welds and rework as necessary.
• Change wire and gas on welding machines as needed.
• Ensure equipment is properly set up and used safely.
• Maintain welding equipment and machines, and request maintenance as needed.
• Assist and participate in fuel tank pressure testing and rework as necessary.
• Perform work to timely standards and quality expectations.
• Account for time and work completed through weekly timesheets.
• Report and document material, production, quality, or safety issues to management.
• Show flexibility and responsiveness with strong teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to cross-train and perform other job tasks in addition to primary duties.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00 / hr.
