National Engineering firm with a regional office in Arizona is looking for a project manager with municipal services experience including buildings plan review and building inspection to lead projects and teams in Arizona. This is an excellent role for someone with previous municipal experience looking to transition into a private engineering consulting firm.

Responsibilities :

• Examines plans and specifications for buildings and structures for completeness and conformity with all requirements of building codes.
• When requested, authorizes the issue of building permits for plans that meet code and ordinance requirements; calculates fees.
• Advises and assists architects, contractors, builders, and the general public with interpretation and application of pertinent building regulations, state laws, and local ordinances.
• Submits reports to jurisdictional Building Officials regarding workload and process statistics, new products or situations, and code interpretation issues.
• Provides assistance to the public jurisdictional building counters when requested, answering questions related to plans and permitting requirements.
