Job description

Concrete Laborer

Join our team as a Concrete Laborer where you'll be engaged in a variety of tasks including general labor, setting up and pouring concrete, and cleaning up forms after use. You'll also assist with basic carpentry tasks and help maintain a clean and organized workspace. This role is in a manufacturing setting where you'll collaborate with a team to produce precast concrete products. While extensive experience is not required, a background in construction or factory work can be beneficial. This role is ideal for those who enjoy staying active and working with their hands.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor tasks including setting up and pouring concrete.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing the work area and forms.
  • Support basic carpentry work as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to manufacture precast concrete products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic carpentry and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret simple instructions and work orders.
  • Proficient in basic math and use of measurement tools (e.g., tape measure, level).
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or concrete work preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in outdoor or industrial environments with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Experience with construction, concrete finishing, and concrete forms is a plus.

    Work Environment

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, Idaho.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
