We are offering a great opportunity for a full time Licensed Eligible or Licensed Community and Crisis (CAC) Clinician. The CACs are located in Hopewell, VA and Petersburg, VA. The CAC is home to the South Central Virginia CIT diversion site for law enforcement officers within the Greater Reach CSB catchment area. The site is staffed with crisis intervention providers, law enforcement officers, and certified peer specialists who work together to provide immediate access to triage, assessment, and linkage to needed MH / SA / ID / DD services. The CAC provides crisis intervention services to individuals under ECO, voluntary police escorts, referred from community partners and agencies, as well as walk in’s and individuals who call in seeking crisis services.
Responsibilities
Provide emergency assessment, crisis stabilization, pre-admission screening and assessment, discharge planning, and jail and hospital diversion services for persons within the catchment area. Responsible for direct crisis services to the consumer population. Exercise sound judgment, demonstrate initiative, maintain a high degree of confidentiality and sustain a cooperative working relationship with Greater Reach Mental Health, Intellectual Disability and Substance Abuse services personnel, clinical case management, hospital liaisons, local police, local hospitals, local magistrates and other referral sources.
Requirements
M1 : Master’s degree in human services, psychology or related field
M2 : Board registered in the state of Virginia with license eligibility or current State of Virginia license as a LMHP (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSATP, or LCP).
M3 : One (1) year position related experience working in community-based emergency services to include providing therapy to MH / SA / Co-Occurring and crisis intervention.
M4 : Valid Driver’s License with a point balance of -6 or higher.
Preferred :
P1 : Three (3) years position related experience working in community-based emergency services to include providing therapy to MH / SA / Co-Occurring and crisis intervention.
P2 : Preadmission Screening Clinician certification.
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
Annual Salary Range
Grade C9 for Licensed Eligible . $60,863.00 - $68,471.00.
Grade C11 for Licensed. $69,356.00 - $80,916.00.
$5,000 Sign on Bonus - Restrictions Apply
5% increase for licensure
