What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites. Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education. Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams. Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service. Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare facility in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns, with working environments and conditions varying by site. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client representatives. Assist with access control, visitor management, and adherence to facility policies, supporting the healthcare location's operational needs. Collaborate with staff and first responders in emergency or crisis situations, providing support as directed by Allied Universal and / or site protocols.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts. Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments. A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company. Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available.

Minimum Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to provide proof of required vaccinations as mandated by the hospital. Must be able to safely work in environments that may include a hospital morgue. Must be able to safely restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
