Job descriptionPerform daily activities accurately and on time under the supervision of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment. Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties in accordance with established procedures. Maintain all required records and documentation accurately. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the general public. Ensure high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric specimen collection. High school diploma or equivalent (required). Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred).
Job Description :
- The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in for routine health visits or important diagnostic testing.
- The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for laboratory testing while following established procedures.
- This role requires professionalism, precision, and the ability to create an atmosphere of trust and comfort for patients during the collection process.
