Job Description

The Video Content Specialist will assist in preparing, planning, and operating video needs for the Lastinger Center for Learning, including filming and editing for both the public-facing portion and the Teacher's Professional Development side of content. The Video Content Specialist coordinates, performs, and supports media maintenance, creation, and distribution for various venues, audiences, and other deliverables. This position is time-limited and soft-funded.

Responsibilities

Production

• Assist in planning and executing video shoots, including setting up equipment and directing talent.
• Operate video cameras, lighting, teleprompter and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage.
• Collaborates with project leads and the studio specialist to design studio sets and film in the field.
• Builds, maintains and prepares equipment kits for field producers to use.
• Suggets the best solutions to meet project goals and keeps clients on task with reviews and updates.
• Reviews progress and maintain up-to-date records for project tracking.

Expected Salary : $20-24 per hour

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

A high school diploma and two years of appropriate experience. Appropriate vocational / technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
