Key Job Details - Telemetry RN Location : Lima, Ohio 45801 (Northwest Ohio healthcare jobs) Facility Setting : Medical / Surgical Telemetry Unit (36 beds) Assignment Type : Travel RN contract Shift : 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week : 36 Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025, End : 2 / 2 / 2026) Weekend / Holiday Coverage : Every other weekend and holiday required Scrub Color : Navy Blue Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680-$1800 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Ohio RN license or compact state nursing license Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (preferred for travel nursing jobs) BLS and ACLS certifications (required for direct patient care) NIH Stroke Certification (preferred) Ability to pass Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide provided) Experience titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin) Pre / post cardiac catheterization experience (preferred) EPIC EHR experience (preferred) Telemetry RN Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments; develop individualized nursing care plans Monitor and care for medical / telemetry patients, focusing on cardiac cases (chest pain, CHF, pre / post cardiac cath, alcohol detox) Administer and titrate cardiac drips (Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin) as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for patient care coordination Serve as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement initiatives Manage post-operative drains, ports, PICC lines, and stable chest tubes Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions Accurately document care and patient responses in EPIC electronic health record Respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions Join our healthcare team in Lima, Ohio and make a difference in cardiac patient care.
