Overview
We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists with Swiss Lathe experience for contracts across the nation. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. If you are willing to travel to other states for a 3 to 6 month project onsite and have at least 3 to 5 years experience then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss lathes to produce precision components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
- Program CNC machines using G-code, MasterCam, EspritCam, EdgeCam or other relevant software.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with Swiss Lathe operations.Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.Experience with CATIA, AutoCAD, SolidWorks is a bonusExperience doing Setup, Touch-off, Tool Changes, offsets and CalibrationProficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.Experience doing First Article Inspection and Quality AssuranceAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection tools.Here’s what’s in it for you :
