EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE Must have high school diploma plus two years of technical training in Manufacturing Engineering, nondestructive testing or related fields. Equivalent experience may be considered. Must have comprehensive knowledge of inspection procedures, basic knowledge of common manufacturing processes, and must be able to read complex blueprints. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information, and respond to questions from managers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds.
