The Training Specialist provides support to Romeoville and at times to our Carol Stream location. There may be a rotation every other weekend.

Pay Range : $18.39 / Hour - $23.00 / Hour based on experience

About the Role : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Specialist to join our team. This role requires a hands-on leader with a proven track record in supervising and training teams within a fast-paced distribution center environment. The ideal candidate will blend operational efficiency with effective employee development to help drive our team's success.

Critical Responsibilities :

• Manage training schedules in close collaboration with the Sr. Manager and General Manager.
• Own and maintain the cross-training tracker and its management.
• Lead new hire orientation and oversee PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certifications.
• Provide flexible support across different departments and processes, including covering for other leaders as needed.
• Support our Carol Stream location on a flexible shift basis, which includes potential weekend rotations every other weekend.
• Assist in training employees and conducting observations to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support the rollout and training of new processes and procedures.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, safety, and cleanliness within the facility.
• Maintain key department expertise in areas such as receiving, production, inventory control, and administration.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule : The salary range for this role is $18.39 / Hour to $23.00 / Hour, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
