Position Overview
Join a dynamic Interventional Radiology team delivering high-quality minimally invasive procedures. Were seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist who provides exceptional patient care operates imaging equipment with accuracy and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Select proper exposure factors and positioning to consistently produce high-quality radiologic images
Prepare and instruct patients for examinations
Assist Radiologists during IR procedures
Operate all IR and imaging equipment efficiently and report malfunctions promptly
Complete procedures in a timely manner and assist with room turnover or team support between cases
Maintain medication security and uphold patient rights
Communicate effectively with patients physicians and staff
Utilize HIS RIS and PACS accurately
Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong phone etiquette
Participate in performance-improvement initiatives as needed
Requirements
NYS Radiologic Technologist License (or ability to obtain before start)
2 years of experience
BLS (AHA only)
Interventional Radiology experience
Preferred Qualifications
VIR Certification (strongly preferred)
