Network Automation Developer (Plano)

The Automation Developer will be focused on providing services to support the Automation Support group in support of the Legacy IP to Pleaf Migration Automation Development Project to provide Network Engineering and Automation Development services . This is a multi-year effort to move traffic off legacy IP core to a new IP Core. This individual will develop processes / automation to support traffic moves. Additional responsibilities include :

• Discovery of network inventory.
• Assessment of the scope to develop automation from manual steps for Mobility IPE routers, IPAG VPLS routers, Dedicated Compute Unit (DCU), and Network Cloud (NC).
• Creation of automation steps for different use cases for migration from Cisco CRS Core to Pleaf Core.
• Creation of User Interface for each use case.
• Collect user requirements and user stories for each use case to be developed.
• The scope of the automation development may expand if new use cases are added to the scope for migration to the new IP Core.
• Ongoing development and support for changes to the command structure for each of the environments due to code upgrades.
• Manage security compliance for the newly developed tools to standards.
• Participation in planning meetings.
