Job Description

The Radiation Therapist plays a critical role in providing high-quality care in a pediatric setting. The position will not require on-call hours or weekend shifts. The expected patient ratio is 1 RT to 20 patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy to patients
• Assist with intravascular and interstitial administration
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including those in restraints
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as CBCT and kV / mV imaging
• Participate in simulation processes including CT simulation and motion management
• Handle emergency cases effectively
• Engage in patient and family teaching
• Support interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
