Position Overview : The Zone Team Leader (ZTL) provides guidance and direction for the successful operation of a particular zone of the retail sales floor. The ZTL oversees merchandising and selling merchandise, ensuring an exceptional associate and customer experience. Responsibilities include merchandising, customer service oversight, and supervisory responsibility for associates.

Primary Responsibilities : Successfully execute established procedures for the assigned store zone; ensure store standards and company programs meet expectations; oversee the door to floor process; ensure daily tasks for associates; ensure customer service standards meet company expectations; ensure proper scheduling and staffing; communicate company directives; and perform all functions to open and close the store.

Qualifications : High School diploma or equivalent required; minimum of two years' retail experience in a supervisory role; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; ability to read, write, and speak English; ability to exercise sound judgment; ability to preserve confidentiality; accuracy and attention to detail; ability to organize and prioritize tasks; knowledge of industry terms and processes; ability to effectively communicate and delegate; outstanding interpersonal and listening skills.

Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds; ability to stand for extended periods; ability to bend and twist frequently; ability to grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently; ability to squat, kneel, balance, and climb occasionally; ability to work in a constant state of alertness; must have the ability to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid state issued license.
