Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting requiring at least one year of experience and Epic proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an outpatient physical therapy setting
  • Monday through Friday schedule, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM day shifts
  • Primary patient population includes those with orthopedic conditions such as total joint replacements, spinal, shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle diagnoses
  • Occasional treatment of patients with CVA and Parkinson's disease
  • Strong focus on geriatrics, orthopedics, neurology, and sports medicine cases
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Business casual attire required, such as khakis and polo shirts
  • A 70-mile radius rule applies; no local travelers will be accepted

    • Requirements

  • Current BLS certification required
  • Active state PT license required if applicable
  • Minimum one year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience
  • Experience with Epic electronic medical records is required
  • Expertise in geriatrics, orthopedics, neurology, and sports medicine preferred
