Reporting to the Technical Director, as Maintenance Technician you will execute, identify, collaborate on maintenance solutions for a fast-growing organization.
Responsibilities :
Ability of replacement and repair of mechanical, electrical, and Pneumatic componentsInstall, startup and shutdown equipment in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements.Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting for the repair and maintenance of production equipment.Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.Other duties as assigned.Requirements :
Required 1-3 years of maintenance / mechanical experience.High school, GED, or equivalent education. Trade or vocational school education is preferred.Experience working in a food and beverage manufacturing facility is preferred.Able to understand and safely use various hand tools and power tools to carry out and complete maintenance tasks.Demonstrated knowledge of electrical components such as (but not limited to) VFD’s motor starters, temperature sensor.Pneumatics & Hydraulic experienceAbility to read and understand technical equipment / manualsAbility to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and / or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees)Ability to repeat motions that may include use of the wrists, hands and / or fingers, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods (average 8-12 hours).
