Job Description

This is an opportunity to shape the future of construction technology in the heavy equipment and machinery industry.

As a senior product manager at RapidWorks, you will have a key role in the strategy and development of the company and its products. You will lead the next wave of growth in the definition and launch of our construction equipment resource management products by leading a team creating our next‑generation product platform. You’ll also define and design new AI product features for our customers. You’ll research requirements, define the product roadmap, and work with our global development team to ship new capabilities that delight our users. This is a hands‑on role, so you’ll need to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and dive into customer usage data, build mockups, and manage product backlog items and development sprints.

Responsibilities

Drive a team of software engineers and designers to deliver the next‑generation product platform for RapidWorks.

Research product and market needs directly with customers and prospects, gathering business requirements to establish the product roadmap.

Develop product features that use AI technology to deliver new and unique value to our customers.

Translate product strategy into detailed functional requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with designers to create awesome user experiences.

Serve as product owner on the scrum team to organize and prioritize the product backlog, describing the business value and representing the voice of the customer.

Conduct user experience testing, manage the beta release and product launch process.

Communicate development status and progress toward milestones and releases.

Demonstrate product capabilities and solutions to customers and partners to assist in the sales process.

Work with the marketing team to create differentiated messaging and positioning to support go‑to‑market campaigns.

Be flexible and willing to work with remote development teams based in LATAM or EU time zones.

Qualifications

3‑5+ years of product management experience in a B2B software company.

Must have launched at least one new major software product, from start to finish, as a product manager.

Ideally, you will have worked on a major application rewrite project where you moved an old product to a new platform and / or new user experience.

Must have experience developing and managing artificial intelligence (AI) features as part of a product platform.

Proven track record of leveraging modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Figma AI) to accelerate product workflows, enhance documentation quality, and improve decision‑making speed while maintaining rigorous standards for accuracy and validation.

Passionate about creating value for customers and users with innovative solutions to business problems.

Prior experience in the construction tech industry is a strong plus, but not required.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Technical background with ability to work well with designers and engineers.

Analytic and metrics‑driven work style.

Familiar with Agile development methodologies including Scrum.
