JOB DESCRIPTION : Family Medicine residency program in Pennsylvania is seeking a core faculty member who is committed to teaching, supervising and administrative residency responsibilities. Highly competitive compensation based on experience and benefits included as well as a sign-on bonus. Core Faculty members practice and precept in the Family Medicine Residency Clinic in a rural community setting plus inpatient teaching service rotation.

Small residency size of 18 allowing for a personalized education approach. HOSPITAL : This independent acute care community hospital is the sole community provider in the area and nearly every specialty of medicine and surgery is represented by the active medical staff. Services include advanced imaging with PET / CT, MRI, 64-slice CT, nuclear medicine, and cardiac catheterization lab doing PCI without open heart backup.

Other specialty services include a Wound Care Center, Women's Diagnostic Imaging Center, inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit, inpatient acute rehabilitation unit, outpatient Human Motion Institute, comprehensive sleep disorders lab, advanced neurodiagnostics lab, community dialysis center, weight management and bariatric surgery program, and an intensivist program.
