About The Position

Position Summary :

We are currently seeking a skilled and certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. This role involves preparing patients for nuclear medicine procedures, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and performing imaging studies to support accurate diagnoses and patient care. The technologist will also be responsible for ensuring safety protocols and monitoring patient conditions throughout procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients’ physical conditions during procedures.

Operate nuclear medicine equipment and ensure optimal image quality and safety standards.

Perform general nuclear medicine exams, including bone scans, hepatobiliary scans, lung scans, and thyroid scans.

Maintain accurate documentation and follow established imaging protocols and radiation safety guidelines.

Monitor and troubleshoot equipment performance as needed.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications :

Certification : ARRT (NM) or CNMT required.

Licensure : Active New Jersey Nuclear Medicine Technologist license required.

CPR certification required.

CT licensure and PET scan experience preferred.

Strong understanding of general nuclear medicine procedures and safety practices.

Education Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine or graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology and Nuclear Medicine program.
