Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Mechanical CAD Designer to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in machine manufacturing, has experience in metal fabrication processes, and can quickly turn ideas into functional, buildable designs. This position works closely with shop fabricators as well as directly with customers and outside vendors.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to develop mechanical components, taking into consideration manufacturability and performance requirements.
• Interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and product requirements.
• Produce work and assembly drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and documentation for procurement, fabrication, and assembly.
• Provide support throughout the manufacturing process including sourcing components, design updates, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
• Maintain organized project files and revision histories in company drawing database, as well as printed assemblies for manufacturing processes.
• Provide overall project support where needed.

Qualifications :

Experience with plastic injection molding, CNC machining, and 3D print modeling.
