We turn clients into category leaders, looking at all areas of search such as onsite, ecomm, SERPs (Google, Bing etc.), social search (TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube), AI & LLMs, and dark search (Reddit, Giphy). We meet audiences wherever they search, designing creative strategies that increase demand and discoverability.
As an SEO Account Manager, you’ll own client relationships, support cross-channel strategies, and deliver measurable results. You’ll act as the day-to-day lead for accounts, combining deep SEO expertise with the ability to communicate, influence, and grow partnerships.
This role requires an obsessive understanding of the consumer, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to connect data, content, and creativity into stories clients can act on.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 3–5 years of SEO experience, preferably in an agency environment.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships — leading calls, presenting strategies, and being the go-to trusted advisor for SEO.
- Familiarity with how AI, LLMs, and emerging platforms are reshaping organic search.
- Strong understanding of technical, on-page, off-page, and content SEO tactics, plus the ability to tie them together into growth strategies.
- A strategic mindset — able to translate audience insights and search data into clear business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to simplify complex data into compelling, client-ready stories.
- Hands-on experience with SEO and analytics tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, AHREFs, Sistrix, Screaming Frog (or similar).
- Commercial awareness — an ability to spot growth opportunities, upsells, and deliver ROI.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise, delegate, and hit deadlines across multiple accounts.
- Comfortable collaborating across SEO, PR, Social, Content, and Creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the day-to-day client lead, managing communications, building trust, and ensuring delivery excellence.Lead client meetings, presentations, and reporting, telling a clear story of performance, insights, and next steps.Develop and deliver SEO strategies and roadmaps that connect technical, content, and off-site efforts to client goals.Collaborate with Client Services, Strategy, PR, Social and Content teams to design integrated campaigns that drive visibility and demand.Conduct and oversee keyword research, audits, content gap analyses, and backlink reviews, ensuring high-quality outputs.Translate insights into growth opportunities, identifying where clients can expand, test, or innovate.Support business growth by identifying and driving upsell opportunities within accounts.Keep clients and internal teams ahead of industry shifts, from algorithm updates to new search behaviours.Ensure all projects run smoothly, hitting deadlines, budgets, and performance KPIs.Contribute to the wider SEO team by mentoring juniors, sharing knowledge, and helping shape best practices.REPORTING TO
